How much do y’all believe Jimmy Smith?

Yeah you can say that now obviously. He was probably never offered with pen and paper but he was definitely in talks to be the coach.

Verge supposedly said LSU never offered Riley as well.

Now I know he’d have every reason in the world to say that…yet, I believe him.

I think we actually locked up our next coach 4-5 weeks ago.

USC was at 15 mill and Woodward did not go there. I got that from Jordy show.

I think usc pushed all in to 15 mil and got him.

Obviously lsu wanted riley.

He better beg aranda to come back.

Not sure about that timeline but I do believe Riley was a smokescreen. Only the ledge jumpers can't see exactly what happened there.

Media contradicts supposed insiders about Riley's role all week saying he's not the guy. End of the week everyone has jumped on the message board started rumor that Riley was our guy and some media start to bend that way because the internet started fire is blazing and just can't be without legs. All the while USC is churning behind the scenes along with Riley's folks until agreements were made yesterday. Then the denial by Riley and early afternoon today(west coast) Riley is announced as USC coach. Pretty clear this happened when the blinders are off. Happens every year with coaching openings. Riley was never a serious candidate here. Don't know who that means is the guy but it's gonna be somebody and I think Woodward has known for a bit.

Jimmy also just posted that he's prepared for news later this week and he expects it to be a 'star that packs a punch'
