I feel like both sides throw the baby out with the bathwater. On "our" (since most of us here are conservative or conservative-adjacent) side is at risk of doing what a lot of conservatives did during Vietnam where we support something because the people protesting it are idiots we don't agree with on other things.

On the left they can't just simply say "I'm worried about the kids in Gaza so I want this conflict to end", which is a perfectly reasonable position to have. They feel like they have to go all the way into supporting Hamas.
