Recs for San Antonio with younger kids

We've got a trip in mid-March with a couple of families with kids (6 to > 1 yr, but most preschool/toddler) to San Antonio.
I know there is lots to do in San Antonio, but I wasn't sure how much younger kids would enjoy all of it. I'd like to know what others think about places like Sea World, Lego Land, The Riverwalk area, etc. as entertainment for smaller kids.
Some suggestions for good places to eat that can easily accommodate a couple of young families like this would also be appreciated. I am personally looking forward to some good Texas BBQ.
Thanks for the help!
