I'd pay LSU type tix prices to see a Bastrop-West Monroe matchup.

From what I hear, you might get to see that next year. Hearing that Bastrop might have the numbers to be back in 5A.

Just watched the Randle run on TV8. Very, very nice run. Then again, like I said before, Franklin is horrible. He looked like an 80 year old jogging around the track for the last 20 yards.

Yep, atleast that's what they said. Then they showed him diving over a guy and getting flipped. I'm sure Bradshaw cringed at that play.

Abbeville lost 15-8 in overtime to St. Martinville. It was 8-6 SMSH with seconds left in the 4th and SMSH had a bad snap on a punt that resulted in a safety.

I think a game more people would want to see is a Bastrop/Destrehan game. Both teams are defending champs and rolling again this year.

Doubtful. Everyone in North LA would come to a WM-Bastrop game at ULM. Not that many would show up for Bastrop-Destrehan. Destrehan is too far away for a large crowd. WM-Bastrop would draw a lot of fans from other schools. It's a game that people have wanted since Bastrop ran off to 4A and rose to prominence post Katrina. Sucks that these teams don't play every year, but it will only happen if Bastrop goes to 5A. The coaches don't like each other at all.

Fwiw, I look for Bastrop to fall a bit after this year. Although Soph QB has looked really good in limited playing time.

god St.Amant sucks now... when I played we lost 6 games in 3 years now they letting teams put up 70
