Judging by his tweets, his grandfather died.

Maternal or paternal? I met Shaq's parents one summer when he was living a couple doors down from me in campus apartments. Really nice people but you could tell Shaq's dad took zero shite off of him.

The grandfather who passed away must be his maternal, Phillip Harrison died several years ago.

LSU really misses him today...unless you enjoy watching Efton Reid run back and forth aimlessly en route to contributing nothing.

He went 6-6 from the field with 12 points, 2 blocks and a steal. He had his best game today.

That's exactly what he was doing....right up until that point. He had 4 points, ZERO rebounds, ZERO blocks, and 2 fouls. Then he channels his inner Antonio Hudson and unexpectedly dominates an SEC tournament game (at least a portion of it).

Can you imagine if we get more of that efton this season?

Thats what im expecting from him next season, the whole game, not just 5-10 minutes of it.
