re: Can mildew be cleaned from caulk?

We recently had the same issue. I had tried just about everything to get it off, and had come to the conclusion that I will have to remove/re-caulk the whole shower stall. That was until some one suggested I try toilet bowl cleaner. I put it on, and let it sit for the day. The majority of it just washed off, the rest only took a little scrubbing.
