Has anyone played the Island recently? How is it?

i played it earlier this year. it was still colder then.
I dont remember saying "damn this place looks like shite" but they had some of that crab grass on the edge of some of the greens but other than that i thought it was a good course.

The greens are coming back which have been set back for a while. Fairways etc are all fairly good. Some bunkers are still being rebuilt. Overall solid track. Again. Just the greens need a couple more weeks of this warm weather and they will be much better.

Best thing i like about it, it is one of the few courses in this area that has a legit rough as opposed to the area where the St Augustine grass starts

Greens are ate up with Poa.

No Poa on the greens its the grass growing back in sporadically. They were completely barren due to the fertilizer they used to fight poa in the spring. They are expecting around another month til its how they want

So so bad. Greens are unputtable last 2-3 weeks and they charging 60$. Wont be back

Tee boxes, fairways, rough, bunkers (minus a few that they are still working on) all in great shape. The greens are about 2-3 weeks away IMO.
