And this negatively affects LSU. I don’t understand any of the reason why fans cheer on their rivals in the postseason. LSU baseball has already fallen further in the arms race, this only worsens it.

I mean, honestly we directly compete with every single team left who has a realistic chance to win the CWS. SOMEONE has to win it ... I guess it's not the worst thing if Bianco gets a title. I can at least see it from that angle.

I get it that it's a little different for an SEC team to win, but honestly in baseball we are competing at a national, CWS level every year, so all of these teams are our competition. And Bianco's good people. So I don't really care one way or another, I guess.

winning a NC finally did not seem to put State ahead of us. I doubt OMiss winning a NC will make it harder to recruit kids to LSU either.
