He thought a lot of you too; especially that day he was sick & hurting & you loaded his truck on your trailer to take it in for repairs so he didn't have to call a wrecker. He loved the cooking & drinking threads & would be all up in the one tonight if he was still here.

Knowing your grief the way I do while also knowing what it feels to be a father, I take comfort of you being able to see these comments about your son from those that knew a sliver of the man he was or had only encountered him on this board. 8 3/4 years after his passing and he’s still remembered dearly here. This is an amazing testament to the man he was that touched everyone he came into contact with leaving the other person better than they were before.

Makes me happy to hear that. He used to buy firewood from me just because he knew I needed the money.

Hard to believe it's getting on 9 years now. I hope his family is doing well.
