Recruiting is the lifeblood in college football. Coaches shouldn't be discredited for bringing in too much talent, it should be a feather in their cap
Great recruiting classes only matter if they stick around. LSU has recruited at an elite level but the current roster is not elite. Daniels will have to play himself into a Heisman invitation to get this team to ten wins.

Yes we made a good hire.
No we won’t win 10 games this season. I just want to see improvement and the positive culture change to continue taking hold throughout the season and hopefully get bowl eligible. Expectations for 9+ wins can hopefully return in the 2023 season.

JD did attempt to stay in the pocket and throw a little better.
While I agree with most of ur post, this part is asinine to me. The guy is throwing at like a 75% completion percentage. Even JB9 ain’t gonna throw for much higher percentage than that. He’s taking care of the football (we all hope that holds opening up SEC play), and is extending with his feet. I also would like to see him go through his progressions, but until the Oline gives him time to do so, it is what it is. He’s doing the best with what he’s being dealt right now IMO.
Backer play is another subject and the more worrisome position for me.

LSU made the correct hire
Agree. The future is VERY bright

And we are going to win 10 games this year.
I'm gonna say no just because there are several more teams that are going to be hard outs on the schedule, starting this weekend. The best thing is if they can get a win this weekend then they get another tune up before Auburn. 4 straight wins going into the meat of the schedule will do wonders for the confidence of the team.

Please label 9 more wins on the schedule for us

This is the SEC gauntlet we have to run. For a 10 win regular season, that means we only drop one of these, two if you want to assume we beat whomever we play in a bowl game. Tell which are Ws and which are Ls
Mississippi State
at Auburn
Tennessee
at Florida
Ole Miss
Alabama
at Arkansas
at Texas A&M

I'll gladly bet you $500 that this team doesn't win 10 games this season.

Yes we made the right hire. N0! We will not win 10 games oline is still a big concern against elite defenses.

Playing Southern cures all problems?
No but I think it becomes very evident the value of the cupcake games at the beginning of the season vs going straight in to battling an equal team (such as they were). The value of working through issues in a true game situation while still being able to simply overpower the opponent was visible last week and I think will shine though even clearer against MSST.
ETA: Agree Kelly is the right hire, but there ain't no way were gonna hit 10 wins this year. Not a reasonable expectation.

Not exactly, but Florida State playing Duquesne before us certainly helped them.

Relax, you gonna blow a gasket.

I thought 9-3 was a possibility right before kickoff of the FSU game. But was sure 8-4 was attainable. FSU was a wake up call to me and made me realize how decimated we were when Kelly came in. We don't have the secondary or OL yet to even think about 10 wins.
You especially can't say things are all better just from watching the SU game. Now if we dominate MSU, and beat them really bad, then I will give you credit for the estimation that things are all better.
MSU will be a real test and Jayden is the QB and I have confidence in him.
I commend you on your drunken confidence though. JK

Easy bro. We might win 8 this year. Might.

Lets see how we do against State.

This fan base is so stupid. We beat up Southern and yall think are winning 10 games. Holy shite. We lost to FSU. This is a 6-6 team.
