NO, salt DOES NOT GIVE ONE high blood pressure.
Go to the OT and Food Boards on this site. They'll tell you they have high BP from table salt while eating pizza and bon bons every night and drinking a case
Of beer a week. 90% of those narratives is people talking themself into an excuse of why they're a fatass

Your whole post needed to be said again, but especially the bolded.
I haven’t read the book but hear good points about it. I salt to taste, but when you’re eating right, it all just fits into place nicely.
Curious as I’ve heard a tidbit in another book about alcoholics, alcoholics tend to over salt/season their food as their taste senses diminish. I haven’t really researched to see if true. Anyone else heard of this?

My Hubbie started seeing cardiologist & was put on 3 B/P meds; one was for PSVT. I said no way we’re doing this & he cut out salt as much as possible. He was taken off of 1 b/p med
and takes 1/2 of initial b/p med during summer. Processed foods full of preservatives are the worst & anything whole or natural is best.
