God bless you and yours mudbone..
no greater pain than the night a man loses his dad. I still bawl like a fricking baby every October 12th.
It never goes away.

I'm sorry for your loss and wish you and your family peace. I lost my dad 10 years ago. I still miss him terribly. You are right. It sucks.

I lost my father 2 weeks ago... 6 days shy of his 75th bday
It isnt easy but the important thing is to remember the good times, the life lessons, and the blessings he gave to you
I'm currently going through his things and finding anything I can to help hold on to his memory... the most important thing to me is finding little things that tell our story and placing them around my home... so that they will remind me of him whenever I see them
This is a man who taught me how to swing a bat, shoot a gun, ride a motorcycle, turn a wrench, what good music was, etc etc...
It is very difficult for him to be gone, but I'm glad he impacted my life in so many ways

All I can say is, if you still have your parents...call them or visit them often.
When they are gone there are going to be a thousand things you wish you could ask or tell them.
Very sorry for your loss. You have my sincere condolences.

Sorry for your loss. I hear you. A friend of mine lost his dad a couple of weeks ago, too.
My Dad is celebrating his 75th birthday next weekend, and we're all going to be there. I'm pushing 50 and don't want to imagine life without the man who taught me so many invaluable and foundational life lessons. Praying for you and your family.

Sorry man. Lost my mom 8 years ago and not a day goes by where I don’t think of her.
Just know you’ll get through it with the amazing loving memories you hold dear.

Man, so sorry to hear this. Praying for you.
My dad has dementia and my mom was recently diagnosed with cancer. Trying to prep myself for this but I'm not sure its possible. Just an awful feeling.

Condolences for the passing of your dad.
I was at Costco with my dad a few weeks ago, sitting in the food court area. While eating my hotdog, a guy in his late 60's or something approached me while dad was in the restroom. I noticed him earlier looking at us. Anyway, he asked if my dad was my dad. I told him yes. After a little small talk I think he just wanted me to know how fortunate I was to have my dad and to be spending time with him. And I realized after he walked away that his dad had probably passed.

Man, that's tough. So sorry for your loss.
Truer words were never spoken. My parents are long gone. I used to call my Mom every day since we were so far away. Think she really liked hearing my voice even if it was about the weather or what we did for dinner the night before.
I think the corollary is true if you have kids. See them or call them often. I've realized that as I get older and am going to commit to continue to call them, or try to visit more frequently. Time goes by faster than you know it.
May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow and need.

My brother just got put on Hospice. He’s 65 and never had been to a doctor much. He had a brain bleed stroke two months ago. He has declined ever since. We lost our mom last year and dad in 2018. Worked his arse off finally retires and now this. Life is really cruel sometimes
