Wasn't an unexpected scene to see a couple of cousins drive up on 3 wheelers with guns when they were riding the old railroad tracks behind the school hunting rabbits

I’ve actually always been very worried that I’d hit someone crossing the street when Ben Hur gets close to Burbank. It’s pitch black and people are flying all over the place. Sometimes you have to put the pedal to the metal just to make a left turn onto Ben Hur, coming from CFA, or coming from those apartments on the other side of Ben Hur. You don’t really have time to look around. You just see that you have a window to get onto Ben Hur, and if you don’t take it within 2-5 seconds, you’ll be waiting a few minutes. They really need to fix up this area, and make it safer for not only pedestrians, but drivers too.

Also, if someone did flash Mr. Jude for him to cross the street, where it’s four laned, then this is a prime example as to why you should never do this, for pedestrians or drivers. It’s extremely dangerous because you don’t know how other people will react, like the person in the black vehicle. No one drives safely over there, myself included a lot of the time.

Very sad situation. I didn’t know Mr. Jude or his gf, but have a lot of mutual friends who knew them, and I’ve been seeing tons of stories and posts on Facebook. Seems like he was a really good person that had a lot of people who loved him. Thoughts and prayers to Mr. Jude’s family and his gf.

Seems like there is a limited number of these in BR (but idk i could be wrong about that just going on my anecdotal experience.) and you would think if you hit someone hard enough to kill them is got to leave some evidence.
