I am sure they would be able to negotiate it down and restructure the contract.

He's got 86 mil left if they fire him after this season. He has no reason to agree to take less, they don't even have offsets for his next job in the contract, and the number is so large he'd be leaving generational wealth from just the money left on the table if he gives up even 1/4th.

I have always thought SW did that to eliminate Jimbo as a choice when he came back to LSU.

This is the most ridiculous contract ever. What was A&M thinking giving Jimbo this extension? He accomplished absolutely nothing prior to it happening aside from what? Beating LSU?

Literally just paid a bunch of mercs who DGAF about TAMU or Jimbo.
THis is an exponentially rapidly growing trend EVERYWHERE in college football except at the service academies, VMI and the citadel

Do they have to give back the NIL money if they transfer?

Mission accomplished. Jimbo was A&M’s guy and Woodward pulled him. That’s his job. Some of y’all are confused about what a successful athletic director is supposed to do, and it’s not ensure that Jimbo is successful 3 years after Woodward leaves A&M

I have no problem with Scott hiring him at aggy. The fact that he pursued him last year is concerning. He seems to have some type of blindspot for jimbo.

Shhhhh, we want to make it like Woodward is a mastermind and suckered Aggie into hiring Jimbo and then giftwrapping him some awful contract so they'd be screwed for a long time.

They can still be in commercials or ads for whatever coMpany after they transfer, right? The university isn’t paying them. Unless I misunderstand

Im glad this happened after our game, because had it happened before we would have been told no way we beat A&M without those guys

If I’m being completely honest, which I’m not, I have to admit that I forgot South Carolina even had a football program
