Correct. His daughter begged him to spare the victims the pain of the trial. He plead guilty.
I think his mom and dad are the only remote chance he pleads guilty but his mother likely is the type who still believes he's being framed

good legal representation
When he was still in PA, there was a public defender representing him. It was said his family couldn't afford a lawyer (as if a lawyer was way beyond their means.) At the same time, "his legal group" were out in Idaho, filing a motion that stopped the clean up of the murder house. The group effectively shut down removal of stuff until the group and or people they hired went through the house.
So a group is cheaper than a lawyer? Who paid for the group? Was their standing based on a contract with the defendant Since the defendant IS an adult, could his parents negotiate with a 'group' to act for him?
I haven't seen any one person stand up in Idaho as a representative, maybe tomorrow?

He really only needed a public defender in PA as the case was open and shut and he wasn't contesting anything.
In Idaho he will likely have a public defender representing as well, although they could start out as a privately hired team who continues with the case when BK runs out of funds. Regardless the court will have to reimburse them for nearly every charge given how much resources the state has put in already to prosecute. DNA and all sorts of other experts will be retained.

I was under the impression Anne Taylor would represent him, but it says she's a "provisional" attorney. Not sure what that means in this case.

He had already been assigned a Public defender in Idaho when he was in PA. The public defenders office is who stopped the cleaning crews and removed the mattresses. Taxpayers paid for it.

There is also almost 10 minutes including the time he turned off his phone that he was in area of campus around where Stadium Drive intersects with Nevada.
From his apartment NE Stadium Way looks like easiest way to get to Pullman Moscow HWY. At 2:44am He either turns off stadium drive going north onto Nevada or had already left Stadium Drive & traveled through some university housing to then be seen on the camera traveling north on SE Nevada at stadium drive at 2:44am.
Possibly drove around the part of campus NW of Stadium Drive & Nevada intersection or got out of car for a few minutes. Not sure what’s around there that would have activity around 2:44am but health and wellness center, spark academic innovation hub, credit union, commons, some libraries & academic buildings, and possibly another dorm are in nearby area. Also not sure if he could have circled back to university housing area without getting being seen on camera again. I guess that depends on what camera caught vehicle at 2:44am and why.
3 minutes later he turns phone off at 2:47am and is then caught on a cam leaving area at 2:53am heading south east on Nevada towards 270.

Yeah, it's kinda confusing.
I'm assuming he drove this route is what they are explaining?
That's the way I take it, but that it took hin 10 minutes.

Na, this is all in Pullman leaving his residence area. Probably just stuck at a light, etc.

When I try to look to see what’s makes sense around there (his office is close to area but closer to stadium & not in your picture) I always end up starting to think about how big Beasley Coliseum looks in satellite view. It looks larger than it should look and switches my focus to looking at photos of inside and outside of it.

He should have stopped at Counseling and Health Services at WSU.

Said the same thing to myself. Sadly, this guy was one pathetic loser that probably was never going to find help.

As to his appointment of counsel at public expense.
The decision to appoint counsel is based solely on the financial means of the defendant. His family's financial means, or lack thereof, is not a consideration by the court.
His parents could be insanely rich, and he may still qualify for court appointed counsel. That decision is only based upon his income.

These murderers/serial killers don’t think like a “normal” person.
Israel Keyes cooperated with authorities after his arrest and then eventually killed himself before the trial started to spare his young daughter as much as possible.

I am not sure what getting cops to release more video of one of their noise complaints does at this point, but it at least is a positive article about Kaylee’s interaction with the cops.
Also looks like it got a picture of the dog.

quote:
Moscow Police responded to the off-campus home Goncalves and her friends were renting on August 16, after neighbors complained about the noise coming from an apparent party at the house.
Goncalves, 21, was polite and respectful as an officer let her off with a warning.
… as she greets the officers on the scene, saying, 'Hey guys.'
A cop then asks if she knows why they were called to the home, to which Goncalves replied, 'I assume noise.'
The cop then confirmed that the Moscow Police Department did, in fact, receive a call about the excessive noise coming from the home, noting there was a 'big speaker right there.'
He went on to say he had 'nothing against having a party [but] once neighbor's start calling in, then we have an issue.'
'Fair,' Goncalves replied.

Glad they could go back to school with their brother’s killer caught and in jail. Lost a brother and one that they have literally been together with from the very beginning of their lives in the womb, so it’s good to see them going back to school.

Stacy Wells Chapin wrote in a Facebook post Wednesday that she had just dropped off her other two children, Maizie Chapin and Hunter Chapin, at the University of Idaho on Wednesday. Maizie and Hunter attend the same school as their late brother Ethan.
"Yesterday, we successfully dropped them off back at the University of Idaho. Hunter was very glad to be back at the fraternity and Maizie was warming up to the idea but it was so good to hear all of the girls squeal with delight upon seeing her. It did this momma’s heart good to hear it!!," Stacy Wells Chapin said.
Maizie and Hunter are rockstars and we couldn’t be more proud of them," Stacy Wells Chapin added. "We’ve spent the last eight weeks, besides the obvious, focused on Maizie and Hunter. Cards, talks, walks, hikes, tears, you name it."
For Mazie and Hunter, Stacy Wells Chapin said that their "job now is just be kids."
"Start where they left off. Keep goals and aspirations in mind," Stacy Wells Chapin said.

He's appearing before court today at noon (CST), right? Is this where he enters his plea - guilty or not guilty? If so, for the OT legal experts, is there anything else that we should expect from this court appearance?
