There are a couple of Louisiana kids in the portal from Colorado State.
Tywan Francis DB
From New Orleans, went to Landry-Walker
Grad transfer
Could be a Jay Ward replacement
Has some P5 portal offers
32 tackles, 2.5 TFL and 2 PD in 4 games this season

All other things being equal I know CBK will take the LA kids.
I'd wager that in his heart he knows it's smart to take LA kids but his dedication to putting the best 11 guys on the field means that - as far a transfers go - he's going to offer the best players whether they're in state guys or not going forward. Could be wrong, but I don't think so.
Phillips looks like Wingo some. Productive player, too from what I can tell. Wonder if he could put on 20 and be a fire hydrant.
