Nope. It is not. That’s probably more preferred by officials anyways, especially when it involves a QB.

They did not call any holding all game. UGA would have had negative yards. LSU must have got the memo at halftime.

Another LSU loss, another whining pussy about the referees. Never ceases to amaze me.

12 missed calls- holding all night on our DE's, PI's not called, no calls on helmet hit on JD, or targeting., blocking below the waist- was hit above the waist- blocking in the back not called on UGA- led to a big run,

I have no problem with what he did. I’d rather he did what he did than throw the QB to the ground.

Is doing neither not an option?

So you're good with a player on another team just using your QB as a prop for his "moment".

Yet if one of our WRs makes a big catch over the other team's DB (which happened) and he tossed the ball to the opposing player, that gets an unsportsmanlike penalty. Making a gesture at an opposing player, standing over them after a tackle all gets penalties.

IDGAF if 88 would have ran out like every other DL and posed or flexed or whatever. But to pick up a player on the other team and hold him like a toddler while he points #1 in the air is bullshite.

Penalty - just ask Brad Wing in 2011 - unsportsmanlike!

I thought it was inappropriate and I don’t believe that Daniels was laughing about it. That was the play where he re-aggravated his ankle.

And I suspect Georgia fans would be seeing it differently if one of our guys had gone over and picked up their little Joe Burrow wannabe after a play.

Unsportsmanlike conduct almost always occurs after a play has ended…
If standing over a player is taunting and UC then picking a player up and carrying them while holding a finger up seems worse.

You should be more upset about the blatant targeting the corrupt officials overturned.

The SEC has told LSU over and over again that we are NOT a program they will protect in any way. So much so that they will compromise our player's safety for their cause.

I don't have a problem with him lifting Daniels up. It's the attempted humiliation by raising the other hand and celebrating while still holding onto Daniels - THAT should have been a no-brainer for unsportsmanlike conduct.

Y’all need to stop being so soft. If the shoe were on the other foot, no one here would have thought of that as unsportsmanlike or warranted of being flagged.
this is one of my main points too.

For all the bitching this board does, just reverse the color of the jerseys and then see what you think.

If (a healthy) Maason Smith did that to one of UGA's players, and got hit with a penalty, this board would be SCREAMING about it being a ridiculous call. And they'd be right.

My goal is to always be intellectually honest with myself. That means taking off the P&G glasses and viewing the world through clear eyes. Far too many on this board are incapable of that.

Yeah that’s just wrong.. we have penalties for conduct that is likely to cause a fight so that we don’t the. have to throw players out for fighting. Celebration, taunting, etc. sometimes refs get a little carried away but using an opponent as a prop in your celebration should draw a flag 100% of the time. Very disappointed our o-line didn’t immediately jump the guy

No, it should not have. He hoisted him as the play was ending, then he had his me-me-me moment, just like everyone does these days. It should not have been a penalty. The only people who thought it should are the little guys who got their feelings hurt.

if an LSU d line player did this to stetson bennett, you better BELIEVE a flag would have been thrown
