Decided to start the show over the Christmas break. Had never seen it before. Really damn good.. no spoilers please, but Dutch is such a damn douche

In my top 10 all time. Best FX series ever imo.
I took my wife to the Michaels on Claiborne for craft stuff last week. CCH Pounder was in there shopping for yarn - evidently she lives in New Orleans now.

Certainly wasn’t the first to do it, but it was the first show I watched that had full season arcs, not just episodes.
It’s in my top 3, with the wire and Justified. The order depends on which I’ve watched most recently.
But for Me, the shield is GOAT.

I want to say that The Shield was one of the first great series of the modern era…not sure if that’s accurate but seems so.

Me and you both, we’re about halfway through the 3rd season. I was hesitant about getting Hulu but surprisingly it has some pretty good content.

The reorientation therapy with Julien in season 2 has gotten old quick.. Hope this gets ditched in future seasons

Such a great show. There are some cheesy moments in S1 but it only gets better and better each season.

There’s an interrogation scene later on in the show with Walton Goggins (Shane) and Anthony Anderson (Antwon) that is crazy. The words said would NEVER be allowed on the air today - cable or HBO.
