Philadelphia Flyers Defenseman Ain't Down With The Groomers

Before the start of the Flyers’ game against the Anaheim Ducks, Philly players came out of their dressing room wearing warmup jerseys with rainbows through their numbers. Players also had rainbow-colored tape on their sticks. The Flyers will auction off the jerseys and sticks, and the proceeds will go to diverse communities to help grow the game of hockey. After the game, Provorov met media members at his locker and explained why he was not on the ice for warmups.
“I respect everybody, and I respect everybody’s choices,” Provorov said. “My choice is to stay true to myself and to my religion. That’s all I’m going to say.”
Provorov noted that he is Russian Orthodox in a follow-up questions, but declined to speak further on the subject.

They write that he "refused" to wear it. There must be divisiveness, because to me he chose not to wear it.
I remember when the Steelers player chose to be out of the locker room to stand for the National Anthem and it was made to be a big deal that he didn't stay back with his teammates.

To bad the league has been ESG/DEI infiltrated. Also, remember there weren't others. Good for his coach having his back though.
Desantis slapping the NHL down for having a non-white males allowed job fair type thing in FL.
Freak'em. During the woke covid period the NHL had the opportunity to gain a fan base that was being crapped on, and they screwed the pooch on that. Won't change though cause most of their northern fanbase are whites that are getting cucked and smiling about it.
