I shoot 125 grain reduced recoil Remington Corelokts in my 336 30-30. Bought a bunch of it on
sale years ago when my daughter was young. She
killed the Hell out of deer with them so I kept
shooting them when she moved up to another gun.

This 6 point didn’t like them one bit Friday afternoon
Died instantly high shoulder

I’ve got a 336 that my grandfather bought in the sixties. I find myself grabbing it for whitetail more than anything else. I’m definitely interested in the new one unless they way overprice them hoping to get some nostalgia impulse purchases.

16" IN .357 would be a nice camp gun. Handy.

I wonder if they’ll produce the old “cowboy” stocks.

Yikes. Model 70 price for a 336 will be a tough sell.

Although I'm glad to see the, I'm hoping Ruger will re-introduce the Marlin 22LR bolt action rifle, but I'm afraid they won't. Re-introducing the 22LR bolt would compete against Ruger's own 22LR bolt gun.

Love mine. My dad owned it 40 years and I grew up shooting it. Never a misfire and its very quiet. Dont need earplugs with it. I finally gave it a good clean and oil last year.

It also has a push button safety in front of the hammer

So much for a true re-release.
