Knife sharpener recommendations

I have a set of JA Henckels knives that need to be sharpened. The honing rod that came with it did a good job of keeping it fine tuned for a while but I need a real sharpener. I am leaning towards a wet stone set but noticed some of the Japanese style seem cool as well. In addition to the set I also have a meat clever and another heavy duty knife.
Here are some of the different stuff that seems to be popular but not sure what's gimmick and what works?

I have the white one in the back and this one. Both work fine, but I use the V-curve more often.

I got a set of Shapton Japanese whetstones and it's got my chefs knife cutting through stuff like a laser. Watch a few YouTube videos and it's easy.

I think if you are going to invest in good knives then you should also invest in a good sharpening system. I've never been able to master the whetstone, so I use a Wicked Edge system. Not cheap, but I don't want to have to replace expensive knives either.

I use the Work Sharp that you have in your OP. I use it for all my knives and broadheads. You want something that you can adjust the the angle.
If you want to really get a good edge, then you need to finish with a leather strop and polishing compound.
That will take your knives to the next level.

I have that worksharp elite pictured in your post and it’s awesome. I also have that trizor in your pic, the worksharp is much better imo.

Shapton
They make excellent water stones.
I use a Tormek T8 slow-speed water-cooled sharpening system which does an incredible job but the cost for most people is too high unless you have other things to sharpen with it. Mine gets used primarily for woodworking tools.
