I just adopted a 10 month old golden retriever and was looking for any recs on obedient schools in the Baton Rouge area. This boy has had zero training thus far and I'd like him to quit bitting my hand and playing tug-o-war with his leash

Classes are good for socializing a pup, but if this is just a house pet I highly suggest taking the time to train your dog yourself. This was my go-by for training my dog, but that author also has a book specific to goldens.
