Installing a pallet in the yard in the morning, any special considerations or advice? Thanks all, Gueax Tigers.

Stagger, don't mow for a bit, water the hell out of it for a couple weeks. Nothing else really to it.

As stated stagger the seams, and water a lot.

Water daily to sogginess week 1; water to sogginess every other day week 2; water twice to sogginess week 3; thereafter, water as needed in the absence of rain. This is the advice of a local sod company that I’ve followed and it’s worked well for me.

Do your prep work before install, then do what Craw says.

Sod won't take if you're not drinking beer. It's science.

Piggybacking off of this: how long do I need to wait before I put fertilizer down and what N-P-K? Sod is about 3 weeks old.

Until it is rooted and mowed twice. Like I said I use 25-3-5 but if you wanted to go a little lighter with the first or but something with N in the teens.
