We plan on taking the kids (teenagers) to see a Braves/Dodgers game. Any recommendations on where to stay?
Any cool things to do or see?

If you are into civil war history and/or outdoor activites, a visit to Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park and the museum is cool.

Quite a few hotels as part of the Battery right outside the stadium.

Is there anything in particular you enjoy doing? Outdoors stuff? How many days? I'm guessing this is the upcoming series at the end of the month.
As mentioned, Kennesaw Mtn and Stone Mtn are easy hikes and there's plenty of hiking an hour and a half or so north. Arabia Mountain, not far east on I-20 has great hiking too. It's not a mountain, but it's very similar to stone mountain with tons of exposed granite.
Stone mountain has two great golf courses. There are plenty of other public courses around the city.
It'll probably be warm enough to tube the Chattahoochee(water will be cold as hell though). Rent a boat at Lake Lanier/Allatoona and fish.
There's always the aquarium. Probably a good thing for teenagers to visit the civil rights museum next door. College football hall of fame.
Walk(or rent a scooter/bike) the beltline and people watch. Walk to Ponce City Market or Krog Street Market for lunch. Ponce City has a little carnival type area on the roof with games.
Probably a good idea to stay in or around the battery. There are plenty of places to eat right in there too before or after the game.

If you're just going for the game, I've only stayed at the Renaissance up by the ballpark, though that was almost 6 years ago. I'm sure some more, better options have popped up by now but IIRC there are a bunch of restaurants and things that have opened within walking distance of the stadium.

For hotels, the Renaissance Waverly is in a perfect spot. There is a pedestrian bridge that links directly into The Battery. No need to drive and park anywhere else.
The Georgia Aquarium downtown is world-class. Recommend doing the behind-the-scenes tour. There is also the World of Coke Museum and College Football Hall of Fame, but not sure how much teenagers would enjoy.
