I still get mad that Elisabeth Shue lost the Academy Award for Leaving Las Vegas. It was an incredible role.

It's a really gut wrenching film. I felt like I watched it at just the right point in my life to truly appreciate it.

For anyone who's ever felt suicidal, it really makes you understand the perspective of the people in your life watching your struggle and being unable to stop it.
