Great video regarding Thatcher Hurd

There are highs and lows on the baseball field but the MAN never changes. Thatcher is such a great get for this team and community. Keep recruiting these types of guys Jay.

This is a great article about Hurd from around 2020 by a scout in the Mariners system. He talks about Hurd’s spin rates at that time and says that he’d be in the top -5% in MLB. And he was still learning how to pitch because he wasn’t a full time pitcher until the year prior.

Hurd should throw down a challenge to his peers to support charities with their NIL $$ - just as he's doing. Wonder how many would chip in.
