Costa Rica. Enjoyed it and never really felt unsafe but felt uncomfortable most of the time. Not what I want on vacation.

This one is interesting because I found Costa Rica to be one of the places I've travelled where I've felt the safest. It felt like a place I wouldn't mind living. What made you uncomfortable?
