At least he's honest. Signing the pledge is hypocritical if the candidate doesn't like other candidates. If he signs the pledge and Desantis becomes the nominee, and trump just holds his tongue and doesn't say anything negative, that would be cringe as hell. Desantis would know that trump hates him. Republican and Democrat voters would know that trump still hates him. Everyone will know that trump still hates him. But because of a stupid pledge, trump has to pretend not to hate him. Would seem too fake.
