I’m replacing my kobalt 40V weedeater. Battery and charger are still perfectly good.

It’d be a shame to toss them.

Got kids or grand kids?

Give em a helmet and a conversion kit for their power wheel... Your 5yo daredevil will love you.

The wife will freak out, but when do they not?

My Kobalt 40v pole saw has been a beast, if your looking for a 40v tool. Tools are cheap if you buy them without the batteries.

I think there is a market for used batteries if you want to sell online too

I could probably find a cheap tool worth getting

Where have you seen a market for batteries?

Pretty sure Home Depot, Lowes, or Best Buy will recycle. Maybe call first.

Just curious what happened to the weed eater? Why are you just getting rid of the battery?

I don’t sell stuff online but a quick search on eBay and I think you could get $60-$75 for the battery and charger.

Not necessarily a Kobalt issue. I wouldn't get a tool series less than the Ego 56V system. I love all my Greenworks 60V tools

Offer or sell them to someone who would want them. Could have em gone in a day for free.

People buy them all day long on eBay, even if they don’t work.
