That being said you really have to look at the chilling effect of loser pays.
Isn't loser pays the norm in most countries? Are there chilling effects all over the globe?

”Proud”? There you go again putting words in my mouth. You’re letting this mean too much to you my man.

And for the record, though “proud” is a misrepresentation, I do stand by what I said.

Acting as if I claimed this case is the only one raising rates and not the general mindset overall is even lower IQ, but you do you.

You think a dad whose daughter was raped and run over has the same general mindset as a some trash looking for a 10k Morris Bart check?

This guy suing everyone has nothing to do with high insurance rates. It’s someone who is probably in the darkest moment of his life and has no comprehension of what he is doing. He’s lashing out any way he can.

dad is from FL, mom and step dad live in covington.

from what someone that knows the dad - he and mom were not on good terms and is kinda surprised mom didn't file suit first.

They have a legal right in our system to drag anyone and everyone into court. Plenty people get way more money for far less.

The insurance company is paying, they wont go after a personal judgment on the driver.

Including the Lyft driver is a piece of shite move that makes me lose some compassion for this guy.

He is a grieving father, this seems like an emotional reaction or it could be an opportunist lawyer taking advantage of his emotions and convinced him they should go after everyone..

no, I think he's looking for much more than $10k.

Factually incorrect.

That doesn't make his choices above criticism.

Daughter didn't deserve it at all but chasing purple crayons leads to bullshite. At best you become a "baby momma". Suing the lyft duvet is a little out of hand. Sucks they guy has his life messed up because of the poor descions of others.
Her friends that left her alone should be sued then.

That they wrote it this way leads me to believe he is trying by to cash in. I have no idea if that is true or not but that is how I read it.

What about the truck maker of the truck the delivery people used to deliver it?

What percentage of you douche nozzles railing against lawsuits and lawyers would be the first to sue if you or your loved one was injured in an accident or worse, the victim of a crime caused by someone else's fault?

90%?

Y'all virtue warriors are so self-righteously fake.

I'm going out on a limb to say that a wayward moral compass doesn't equate with being raped and dropped off in the middle of a highway. And I'll scream that even louder if the jury notice arrives.
