Don't exaggerate, it's only been 25 years.

Yes you are. It can get bad with construction traffic.

The road itself is as bad as 90 between Broussard and Patterson.

Get a wheel alignment on one end and have to do it again 90 miles later.

Just consider urself extremely lucky that youve ony had to make that drive every other year for almost the last 40 years

At least twice a year since 1992. I’ve never understood how they can be working on the same stretch of freeway that whole time!

Someone's never driven between Indianapolis and Cincinnati, and it shows.

What happened to the so called infrastructure bill that passed?

The stretch of I24 between Knoxville and Asheville is hell. All winding mountain roads next to semis. White knuckle driving for miles upon miles on end.

That stretch between Tuscaloosa to Meridian is really bad

Absolutely agree. It’s a dead zone especially at night. Driving home from Charlotte once I had an Alabama trooper ride beside me and obviously saw my head bobbing like I was trying to stay awake in church. He fell in behind me and would hit lights and sirens when he thought I was falling asleep then cut em off when I straightened up. He followed me all the way to the Ms line then flashed lights and waved then turned around. Probably kept me alive and when I got into Meridian and civilization I got my second wind.

Your reason for hating it is the opposite of what everyone’s talking about.

Give me that boring drive over the idiots on I-10 any day

I-10 west from the new bridge to Acadian. Absolute death trap.

Free amusement ride though right before Memphis.

Surprised this hasn’t been mentioned. Did they ever catch the sniper?

Not that I know of but at least someone knows why I suggested that stretch of I-10. I-10 from the Sabine through Orange is a pain and a perpetual construction zone but I-10 through NOLA is deadly.

This entire thread is about I-10. Maybe if y’all ventured out more than just the big city of Baton Rouge or Beaumont, or the southern corridor in general, there would be more to talk about.
