Fun fact. Israel and Hamas were already under a ceasefire from an incident that occured previously this year, during which Hamas decided to brutally murder families, innocent children, rape women, and take hostages.
So you're right, an argument for ceasefire is really just to say it's OK to kill and rape Jews without fear of recourse.

This was earlier. It doesn't mention a refugee camp, but with how they operate I wouldn't be surprised if one wasn't located very near the compound.

Then, there are the roadblocks and "Israeli airstrikes" on evacuating civilians that look an awful lot like IED explosions.
