Walking is amazing. I wish I had bought in years ago

I abandoned the barbell and became a serious daily runner sometime around 2003 and I kept after it until about 2009. I'm way too heavy to jog/run nowadays(and in all honesty, I was way too heavy back then(200-210lb) to be running like that as well, but I was younger and stubborn, so I did it anyway), but walking fulfills everything jogging/running ever could for me. I'm not a racer. I'm not fast. I wasn't looking to be competitive with what I was doing at the time. My only goals with jogging were to maximize cardiovascular fitness for general health purposes. I also wish I had realized years ago that walking was all I should have been doing. Would have saved me some trouble and time.
