He has the moves, strength, and speed for the NFL. Sad that is body just can't handle it all. Makes you wonder if with all the strength and flexibility training they get if something is missing (with all the knee injuries).

Anyways, best of luck to him.

He's fresh, except for the rehab, and talented. He could have have a good run in the NFL

You are at least consistent. Consistent shite, but consistent nonetheless.

I believe he has another year left...

2019 - year 1, played
2020 - Covid
2021 - Year 2, Suspended (can he use RS here)
2022 - Year 3, played
2023 - Year 4, played
2024 - Year 5

NCAA rule is 5 to play 4.

Hate that it ended like this for him. I’m sure he’s devastated. Get healthy and you’ll get a tryout just because you’re a RB from LSU. One of the many perks of playing for the Tigers.

John Emory shouldn’t have had to play school

Kid should have been making money in the league 2 years ago.

Sad

You have a lot to learn about life. I fear you will not succeed in your learning.

Lot of wear and tear esp for a RB.

IMO he'll be better off going the UDFA route and try to make a squad. Even practice squad members make $12k per week. That's like $240k just during the season.

JE has always been one of my favorites for how he’s stuck it out and I am so disappointed for him.

I suffered a similar injury in high school and his first thought must have been “damn that hurts like sheeit” and his next thought must have been “well now I know I’m never going to class again”.

I bet any a-hole who wants be disrespectful, just remember he contributed more to LSU and the football program than probably 99% of the people who post on here.

Thank you John Emery, for a lot of special memories, and for being dedicated the LSU.

I give the guy credit for trying. He kept coming back after facing adversity.

I wish him the best in whatever he does.

During his time at LSU he appeared in 37 games

213 carries, 1,062 yards, 5.0 YPC, 14 TDs, 54 yards longest TD run

36 receptions, 320 yards, 8.9 YPC 2 TDs 49 yards longest TD catch

Pretty good stats for a guy that was in and out as much as him over his career.

I hope he signs as a UDFA and lands on a PS somewhere.
