Well Coleman had 3 TDs and he was a transfer portal pick up. Crazy they kicked LSUs arse so bad even without him and his TDs it’s 24-24.

I live in North MS and remember his time in HS and recruitment. He’s well-known for being a problem. It’s a big reason why he bounced around so much in high school. He’s a very good player, but if things don’t go right, he can easily do what a couple our portal guys did and either cause problems or check out.
I understand why OM is taking a shot on him, but I would rather the staff take the same money and spread it around further than one guy who has had issues in the past. Especially after we tried the same thing with Denver Harris last year and had it go very badly.

I'll take your word on the attitude info but I wasn't talking about that. My brother and I initially compared him to another A&M NT/DT type...Daylon Mack. Remember him...he was Nolan 1.0. The STUPID recruiting services had him a high 5* also and he was a TOTAL BUST! We have since become convinced that Nolan is above average and not a Daylon Mack bust, but he is getting far, far too much credit for the A&M defense.

In truth, Ole Miss was extremely lucky to beat us at their house when we had the worst defense in LSU history.
Let me say it like this, what if one of those 3 dropped TD passes were caught? Are we not talking about a 10-2 LSU with a heisman winning QB (by a landslide because of the record), going to a New Years 6 bowl? Ole Miss at 9-3 doesn't move the needle anymore does it? Even with the transfer portal additions, how much would guys be caring now if we had caught one pass? It would have signified a 7-1 record vs them since 2016.
The catastrophe syndrome on here on a daily basis is the most annoying shite ever. I'm not talking to you, just people on here in general, I hope this is the only place in your life that you display this level of irrational and illogical thought on a consistent basis.

all i know is they got that stud DE from Florida, and now this kid... Ole Miss is doing work in the portal.... will it pay off? guess we'll see, but they ain't exactly an automatic win anymore, i know that much
