Did a good job focusing in on rebounding this week. Definitely been the teams biggest weakness

What do you think was the difference? One factor is that Wright got 10 rebounds, which is double his season average. Other than that, did you see anything different in their technique?

Ward and Reed had their best games. Baker showed up 2nd half. If those 3 can step up then this team can make some noise.

And it has been IMHO our biggest weakness all year and was absolutely the reason we won last night.

As I watched the first half I remember thinking, man A&M missed a lot of open 3's we were fortunate, but turns out A&M has not been a good shooting team all year, offensive rebounding was how they scored and was their strength.

We beat them at their own game - which was a pleasant and unexpected surprise. I've seen nothing all year to think we would be capable of anything close to this but those kids showed an single mindedness of purpose rebounding that I've honestly never seen from a CMM team.

All I've ever asked is to see some development and improvement and to play up to at least our capability. I finally saw some last night. Can it continue, man I sure hope so. But at least now a glimmer of hope for me, which is refreshing.

Effort and purpose were the reasons. They played harder and an intentional focus on rebounding. I think thatll be hard to duplicate alot honestly
