Yet Liberty told us Andretti would be an embarrassment for the sport.

Clown show.

Question, do teams normally bring additonal chassis to races? I mean, I can't think of anytime when I've heard a team pull beacuse of no additional parts.

Someone may need to correct me, but usually the teams will bring a spare for each car, though I have heard of cases where they only have 1 for both cars.

Pretty sure Sainz got a mostly new car built for Vegas after that drain cover tore the car apart.

Teams typically have at least one spare chassis at a race, which means Williams likely doesn't have any completed at the factory, or couldn't afford to get a new one their.

The crash didn't look that bad. I could see a gearbox easily getting taken out by that impact, but it must have hit just right to really frick the whole damn car. The poor mechanics have to strip everything off of Logan's chassis and put all of Albons parts on it.

The chassis issue seems a lot more embarrassing than the excel thing.

I think they typically have 1 spare chassis at a race, not 2. Since it is early in the season and knowing williams' history of not having cars ready for testing, they probably just haven't finished a spare one. Hopefully they can get a new one finished in the next two weeks before Japan. But how long will it take them to have anoth spare ready so this doesn't happen again?

Either way, I've never heard of a team not having a spare chassis and having to pull out for that.

And we've witnessed far worse recs in Practice/Quali than albons. No way teams haven't had to make the swap before and they had them.

A battery give the driver an extra 120kWh or roughly a 160 bhp when deployed. Used mainly for overtaking or defense. Drivers will charge it during turns or short sprints and deploy on the longer runs.

Haas looking like a couple bags of shite.

They don't seem to show much in practice but this looks bad at the moment. I thought they would be pretty decent here.

Saying that, the Grinning Idiot looking like a big bag of shite at his home race.

Really wouldn’t be surprised if HAAS racing ends up being sold or acquired this year. Gene dgaf and they have no promising future. Sell while it’s hot.

I'm seeing talk that Racy Spice's crew is hard on tires on this track while Ferrari is not.
