bow hunting range finder recs

i am looking for a range finder. not looking to break the bank but also want a quality range finder. anyone have any recs?

- works in fog

Look at Sig Sauer. Mine works well. Not recalling the model right now.

I have a sig as well, whatever the $100 one is. The angle compensation on it froze up on me in Colorado and hasn't worked right since. I'd look for something other than that.

My old Bushnell finally gave up last fall. I read a bunch of reviews and tried a Tidewe. Zero complaints, easy to use, clear glass. And works great.

Get one that is illuminated red. I'm selling my sig for something else after this season to get an illuminated one.

My favorite range finders I’ve owned are a few Leica models, the stabilized 4k sig rangefinder, and the Leupold full draw 4. It’s double your budget but the full draw 4 is $300 on euro optic right now Euro optic
I would try to stretch to that level of quality. If I couldn’t, I’d try to find a low level vortex or athlon on sale or used, or the Leupold 1400 on sale. Vortex and athlon have a great warranty, even if you buy one used, Leupold not so much.

Definitely this. You’ll wish you had it at grey light and you can’t see the yardage.
I’ve been using leupold rangefinders for about 10 years now. They don’t provide a lifetime warranty on rangefinders like Vortex, but I’ve had one crap out on me and they gave me a huge discount one a new one. Like 75% or so. I think I paid $55-65 a few years back for the replacement.

ditto. i'm not sure if they make one these days in your range, but this makes a big difference in low light situations where you can't see the black crosshairs or display.

This one is so dang close, i think it was actually 149.99 at some point i tried to find one at that price and wasnt able to.
