So if your role in the company is sales, he should have no problem stepping into your role while working to fill the position. Also your description of the company makes it sound like you don't have much to do since you don't have inventory to sell. They will be fine and better off without you because this will be their wake-up call to pay attention to the business. Congrats on your new position.
