re: For those of you that have at them, what type of plate carrier and plates do you have?

I started researching these and didnt get too far, but I did pick up 2 of these.

Put one in my son's backpack and told him to keep it in there as it may help is something goes down. Told him to run away and use as a shield.

Not heavy at all. Call me crazy.
