Absolutely a difference.
Best thing you can do is try a few diff load and choke combinations to see what’s best for YOUR gun.
I shoot handloads but if I didn’t I would use apex.
What’s your current set up?

Apex is my preferred shell but they are out of everything again. I shot this gun. Model 870 SPS Super Magnum Turkey edition. 3 out of 4 last turkeys I shot were will within 50 feet, 2 with 20 feet. I don’t really take long shots, I just want the mfer dead when I shot. I get 2 to 3 chances a year.
