The WSJ used to be the best newspaper by far but they've lost their way over the past 6-8 years. As the division between the GOPe leadership and the people have become more evident and the GOPe more obstinate (never trumpers, pro-illegal immigration, pro-Ukraine funding, etc.), so has the WSJ. It makes sense when you think about it: The GOPe leadership's real constituency is the multi-national corporations that fund their campaigns, and so is the WSJ.
