“I’m freaking out man”

“ You ARE freaking out. Man.”

It is my opinion the the first 10 minutes of this movie are the funniest 10 minutes ever put in film.

The entire movie is great and I love it. Probably wouldn’t say it’s the funniest movie of all time but that first ten minutes funnier than any one scene of any other movie ever!

In addition to all the great shite posted in the thread, I still lol every time there was a fistfight between the troopers and the local cops.

Saw it first with a couple of buddies at the Houma Palace 10. We said meow for years after that. Such a stupid great movie.

"Excuse me. Bear... bear fricker, do you need assistance?"

I giggle like a little schoolboy every time. Obviously the cold open is the goat.

Rabbits reactions during that scene in the background are great.

Some fun facts:

Rabbit (Erik Stolhanske) has a prosthetic leg and was featured in some of the P90X (notably Plyo-X) vids

The snozberries guy (Geoffrey Arend) was married to Christina Hendricks for about a decade.

Strictly speaking, Gaffigan was not "unknown", as he had done some TV, had a Comedy Channel special, but this was well before he was remotely a big name.

For the original film, it speaks highly of the troupe that folks like Brian Cox and Lynda Carter were not only willing to take the roles, but almost certainly did it at effectively scale/minimum rates of pay.
