Already happening every day when criminals victimize innocent civilians. Time to be able to level the playing field.

Are people dying from Constitutional Concealed Carry? Why don't you ask folks in these states? Are more people there, getting killed more by "spray and pray" (as you imaginatively put it) or more of them getting killed by ruthless thugs? You can bet that if that were happening, it would be headline news for weeks. But I'm hearing crickets on that scenario.

Why is Louisiana different in your opinion? Why should we not be Constitutional Carry, when you can plainly see that all our neighbors, and many more states are? Hmmm?

That's not what I said, at all. As a former 0311 combat Marine, when the shite hits the fan in say a grocery store shooter situation, my preference would to be surrounded by similarly experienced personnel. Won't ever happen like that, but Spray and Pray doesn't work, that's how you get the wrong civilian killed. I'm concerned that scenario will occur. Every citizen should own firearms, for recreational shooting at the range, hunting or just clinking tin cans in the back yard. And, of course, for home and public defense. Outside the home there should be some level of demonstrated proficiency to carry lethal weapons.
you gov-trained baws think y’all are the only ones who know how to get shite done. what a joke.

problem is going to be the money, I think I rember it being stated that LA State Police take in $4 million/year on concealed carry permits, add to that the push to get rid of vehicle inspection stickers (brake tags for the New Orleans folk) which would take another chunk out of state police budget. I am for constitutional carry and the elimination of inspection stickers, but do not feel that either will pass strictly because of the lost dollars….politicians don’t vote to decrease funding

As corrupt and downright dirty as LSP is, ALL the $ should be cutoff!!! F’ em they mostly belong in the jail cell next to the person they just locked up.

Proof positive that women should have never been given the right to Vote. But I suppose that's for another thread...

Perhaps some uncommon sense ought to be applied here.

The media is biased and slanted and seemingly paid or otherwise motivated to publicize only certain types of "gun violence" instances. Recent example tranny freak shoots up Houston TX megachurch - crickets from the media. FACT

The media's bias ALWAYS supports an "anti-gun" or "anti-gun freedom" "anti 2A" narrative. FACT

So sportsfans, where are all of the stories of Constitutional carriers who shot innocent people or worse yet innocent CHILDREN??!!

"White Constitutional Carry gunman trying to be good samaritan lights up 13 innocent children at shopping mall" "Constitutional carry samaritan (non military) kills innocent old lady because he didn't first take CCP course, he just sprayed and prayed"

Yeah, no.

Now all of you skirts can GFY, STFU, and go home. But make sure you downvote this post first.

I'm not anti-gun, by any stretch of the imagination, but do believe in sensible gun control laws. This idea that the 2nd amendment is just carte blanche permission to own any weapon known to man and carry it with you wherever you want is just a straight-up bullshite, selective interpretation of the 2nd.

Passed the house last time but vetoed by John Bell.

It’s my understanding that Landry will sign if it comes across his desk.

Common sense prosecutions would be a good start
All the crap that the left screams about guns - why is it they never scream about judges letting multiple time offenders get off the hook to cause more chaos?

A whole lot of left-leaning people agree with you. It was a dumb idea and now we're seeing the results of electing DAs who buy into the approach. San Fran is a fricking mess because of the loose law enforcement.
