After the Stroud leak debacle last year, there's a group of agents banding together and having their clients not take any cognitive tests of any kind.

Marvin Harrison Jr. reportedly recorded a speed of (22.2 MPH) on Saturday, which was the FASTEST in all of college football.

That is faster than the fastest speed recorded in the NFL this past week (21.66 MPH) by Tyreek Hill.

And is also faster than any speed recorded in the ENTIRE NFL last season.

Yep I was wrong on Stroud, I admit. But I was right on Fields and Haskins I’m glad Ohio State finally has a QB that they’re able to hang their hat on after all those years of failure.

It’s hard to believe Brock Bowers isn’t at least 6’3”, but if he’s not even 6’2”, combined with the veteran TE salary scale, then that’s how a talented player that everyone projects to be a very high pick can drop in the draft.

Very hard to believe.

Isn't Kirby Smart around 6 ft?

So maybe, maybe not. Most likely not.

I’m not touching a guy who comes to the Combine and doesn’t work out unless he’s injured.

He's in Columbus working out with the team getting Pro Football ready, not doing 40 work and speed cone drills to impress a bunch of dudes in spandex. That's exactly the guy I would want.

I'm all for borderline P5 guys or those from smaller schools having a chance to show what they have. It's not a great tool for evaluating top end talent that has tons of film, no matter their position.

Does anyone have any data about correlation of combine numbers by position to relative performance in the NFL?

What are you basing this skepticism on? Certainly not stats. So film?

Trey Benson is a good candidate for star of the combine.
Blake Corum could have one of the best bench press numbers ever for a RB.

BTJ is going to crush the combine and be #3-4 receiver off the board

He'd be a prime Raiders WR candidate of past except he's actually good
