He was asked about the resolution they passed in 2019 where “all are welcome in Athens”. …. implying illegals.
He explained “we did that because that was a different time…. a time of vitriol toward migrants from the WhiteHouse and we are about humanity.”
He invited illegals, but says “we aren’t sanctuary - because that’s illegal in Ga”.
Athens gets what it votes for.
