I think that he had to learn to stop blaming other people for his problems and to look within to deal with his depression. Some of this is legit. I cannot believe the transformation. It’s commendable

I think the stroke damaged the liberal part of his brain and left the sensible reasonable part left. Once he started to heal, his inner conservatism started taking over.
