Seems like our starting CF who was an everyday starter by SEC play would play in more than 1 game and get more than 1 AB against #10 SC, right?
Are you retarded?
Serious question.
Click all the game logs for the back half of the season all the way through Omaha and break down how many non-midweek games Stevenson started compared to not-starting.
Stop being dense. You said a stupid thing about CF'ers on good SEC teams, got proven wrong and now you're trying to cherry pick one series against South Carolina.

Was just curious when we'd see Shores

Look at the logs and see how many 1 AB games he had. Seems like a bona-fide starting CF to me, what with getting pulled constantly

Thanks for confirming your retardation.

He can't hit below .200 and he should still be the starting CF.
I don't think people realize how much ground he covers in CF.
Not suggesting Kling never see the field. Just platoon him in CF vs LHP and give him as many opportunities as we can until he gets out of this batting funk.
I expect the lineup to be fluid for several more weeks.

Yeah don't let the fact that he only played against #7 Kentucky as a defensive replacement get in the way of your made up history

JJ has said he feels he has 12-13 starters. The lineup will remain fluid through the season. Somebody will have to be blowing the doors off to stay in the lineup (ala Neal) that is not named White, Travinski and Jones at this point.
Milam has made it to where he can't be removed right now. Neal is in that category now as well.

Don't let the fact that he started the majority of the SEC series and postseason games get in the way of whatever you're trying to do here.

Don't know why that would be a shock to anyone. The lineup was fluid last year with what, so far, was proven to be a much more complete offensive team

I don't see Jay platooning CF. You are more likely to see that on the corner outfield. Kling will get out of his slump. Even in a slump, his OB% is still .442 and he's third on the team in RBIs and first in stolen bases. I would still keep him in the 8/9 slot until he gets going.

Not just that, but him and Pearson don't take a ton of short at bats. Pearson seems to hit it at people a ton. But both guys seem to be up there for 5-7 pitches every time up.
And that's valuable later in games and later in series.

I’ve had to skim this thread for time purposes and have a migraine. I saw that there was an unofficial start time posted for 7:36 CST. Where did that source come from? This may be an overlap question to the last, but who is the best to follow on Twitter for LSU baseball coverage/updates now that Leah Vann moved on to the Astros?

That was Stevo’s freshman year. He was a defensive sub and pinch runner most of the season and won the starting CF job towards the end of conference play but still hit like crap. He was a bit better as a sophomore but really turned it on at the plate as a junior.

They always on the beans.

Honkus is an attention seeker, and pretty crappy baseball poster. He's no NicolasTiger, but don't buy any stock into what he says.
