No pic, no believe story.
ETA: did you make this up to draw attention to your oh-so-hilarious "Only in Louisiana!" youtube series and facebook meme page?

At the Grand Hotel in Point Clear, ALABAMA,
They also have a sign at the hot tub asking you not to use it if you have explosive diarrhea.

First they ban boiling crawfish in hotel rooms. What’s next banning meth cooking a Days Inn or prostitution at a truck stop?

Don’t knock it till you try it.

OK, no crawfish...have a jello shots contest instead.
Probably will end up no AutoYes_Clowns allowed

I had to stay a night in a hotel in Venice, LA.
there were multiple signs on the property in the rooms saying not to clean fish IN the hotel room. ?
The Navy Lodge on NCBC-Gulfport has kitchenettes in all rooms. They all had permanent, printed signs above the kitchen sink warning against cleaning fish in the sink. I was amazed. I wouldn't clean fish in my sink at home, why would I do it there? But I guess some people do, because the management went through the effort of having signs made and mounted.

my only guess is that people staying in hotels don't necessarily have a place outside to do it?

Well, “those we don’t speak of” will have hotel parties and will do things like that.
They love frying food in hotel rooms so unfortunately something that stupid has to be signed

Or a lot of people just don't give a frick if somebody else has to deal with it after they leave.

Staying in a Marriott owned hotel that Ive stayed in before in a business area. This time check in was a little different. I had to sign a waiver that I would not boil crawfish or any seafood in my hotel room or on property.
Is this a thing? I dont stay at hotels in Louisiana very often but they make these waivers because someone has done it before.
100% It happens a LOT.
People try to fire up jet burners in the parking lot and host boils when having a family/class reunion/etc at the hotel.
It's not okay at all for safety and environmental reasons.

That's not a hotel worth staying at. I pay extra for rooms that make boiling crawfish mandatory.

When I rented a car in Alaska I had to sign a waiver regarding salmon in the car.
Because you can’t let salmon else drive.

I was in Indiana for family member surgery and it was a football weekend it was a Hilton and they tried to get me to sign I wouldn't through tailgate party and if I did I would pay x damages.
I told them no wasn't going to do it. I booked room on Hilton app and we could take it up with Hilton if they didn't want to honor room reservation
They were like ok and gave me key
