I don’t own a GMT at the moment, but the only one I would consider is a flyer style movement, where I clan change only the primary time quickly while the GMT hand stays on my local time. Another reason I don’t have one is I don’t change time zones drastically or often because I never fly across the pond(s), so I don’t need it.

Yes! I am with you. I’ve gone to see/ buy a Pelagos 3 times and left empty handed. I didn’t get the flat feeling you did, but it just felt dainty. Like I was going to break it. Weird, I wanted to love it but I didn’t. I partially blame that on titanium, but it is what it is.
